Practice education

Within Scotland, we have a practice education infrastructure for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (NMAHP).

Practice education sits within the NES NMAHP directorate. There are three aspects to this workstream:

• AHP practice education
• Nursing and midwifery practice education
• Pre-registration nursing and midwifery

The diagram below outlines the NMAHP practice education infrastructure within Scotland.
