Overview
NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is delighted to welcome you to the Bereavement Education Conference 2026.
This follows on from the success of the 2025 event, which saw over 1300 delegates register. Read more and watch clips from the 2025 conference in the resources tab below.
We will host a number of plenary and parallel sessions throughout the day.
We are again welcoming abstracts for the hosting of parallel sessions. We are also accepting poster abstracts. Information on how to submit an abstract and the relevant deadlines can be found in the abstract submission tab below.
A free, one-day virtual event for those working across health and social care.

We are currently inviting submissions for hosting a parallel session or for a poster at the 2026 conference. Further details can be found on the documents below.
The submission deadlines are as follows:
Session Abstract Submissions: 12 noon on Monday 29 June
Poster Abstract Submissions: 12 noon on Monday 7 September
