At Rowlands our growth strategy has always been to focus on being present in the heart of the community having acquired the majority of our pharmacies in locations within or very close to the local GP practice. This approach allows us to create strong opportunities for newly qualified pharmacists. By growing our pharmacy estate in the hearts of communities our pharmacy teams, have retained the trust of our patients and are able to offer a truly local experience that can be difficult to maintain in the current environment.
With the growing focus on clinical expertise of pharmacists, and clinical service delivery, Rowlands are able to offer the “traditional” services most patients expect alongside a wide range of healthcare services, providing our patients the best possible care. By far our best assets are our pharmacy teams and the work we are undertaking in professional development will ensure they continue to be supported in their future careers within Rowlands as we look to enhance opportunities for extended practice and learning.
