Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme

This programme supports learning and development for people and teams across a wide range of professions, roles, sectors and settings. With a focus on mental health and wellbeing, the programme’s work is driven by collaboration with many internal and external stakeholders. Adults with Incapacity (AWI)

A partnership with the Mental Welfare Commission for Scotland, the AWI team work to help improve understanding of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000.

Autism and neurodivergence across the lifespan

The Autism and neurodivergence team support the development of the Scottish workforce in relation to the recognition, assessment and support of neurodivergence.

Dementia

Aligned to the Promoting Excellence Framework (2021), the Dementia team work to enable learning and development for all health and social care staff who support individuals living with dementia and their unpaid carers.

Learning Disabilities

The work of the Learning Disabilities team aims to improve quality of life for people with learning disabilities, help reduce inequalities and promote inclusion.

Mental Health Improvement, and Prevention of Self-Harm and Suicide

Everybody, wherever they work or provide support, can contribute to improving mental health and preventing self-harm and suicide. The Mental Health Improvement, and Prevention of Self-Harm and Suicide team support and facilitate learning and development aligned to enabling this.

Spiritual Care

The work of the Spiritual Care team is wide ranging and includes developing and promoting the delivery of spiritual care across the whole workforce, health and social care chaplaincy, Values Based Reflective Practice(R) (VBRP) and community chaplaincy listening (CCL).
