New learner pathways added to the Quality Improvement Zone

Two new learner pathways have been launched to support change and improvement across health, social care, and public services.

NES's quality improvement (QI) team created the pathways to help staff build the knowledge and confidence needed to use QI methods.

Available pathways

Practical QI, is for anyone who wants to get hands-on experience with QI tools and techniques. You’ll learn how to apply QI methods in your own workplace through:

  • three short e-learning modules
  • three themed, facilitated sessions
  • a final presentation session to share your learning

This pathway builds on QI Essentials and helps you put theory into practice.

Managing QI, is for managers and team leaders who guide teams through change and improvement. You’ll learn how to lead QI work through:

  • four e-learning modules
  • three themed, facilitated sessions
  • a final presentation session

This pathway also builds on QI Essentials and supports you to lead improvement with impact.
