NES perioperative careers showcase in June

NES has announced an online Perioperative Careers Showcase on Tuesday 3 June from 13.30 to 15.30.

This unique event is designed to open the doors to a range of fascinating roles within the operating theatre and beyond, whether you're just starting to explore healthcare careers or looking to take your next step - this is a chance to gain real insight into what these roles involve and how to get started.

We’ll be showcasing careers including:
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Trauma Coordinator
- Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP)
- Anaesthetic Practitioner
- Recovery Nurse
- Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)

The event will begin with short videos introducing each role, followed by the opportunity to select careers of interest. You'll then join a breakout session to speak directly with professionals working in the role, and experts who can guide you on the education and training pathways to get there.
