MyCare – first steps in NHS Lanarkshire
MyCare.scot, the new online service designed to help people in Scotland access and manage their health and care information, went live with its first users in NHS Lanarkshire last month.
An early version of MyCare.scot is now available to dermatology outpatients in NHS Lanarkshire, giving them secure online access to selected parts of their health and social care information, including:
- future hospital appointments
- hospital letters
- allergies, medicines and vaccinations
Greg Thomson, Digital Front Door Programme Director said:
“This is an exciting milestone and the result of outstanding teamwork across and dedication across the Digital Front Door workstreams, NHS Lanarkshire and all our partners who have contributed.
“We will now continue to work with health boards and social care organisations as we move at pace towards whole population availability of MyCare.scot during 2026.”
As well as working on planning for the upcoming launch of MyCare.scot in April, members of the team are speaking at two forthcoming events: Digital Health and Care Scotland in February and Health and Social Care Transformation in March – do come and hear more about the programme and say hello if you’re attending!
