Leading in the Digital Age Board Development - Digital Mindset Session for Board Members
These Digital Mindset Sessions are aimed at those in board-level roles across health and care organisations in Scotland.
This work is a commitment within Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy, Data Strategy and the Care in the Digital Age Delivery Plan and the purpose is to build the confidence and knowledge of board-level leaders to lead, govern and support the transformation of health and social care services in the digital age.
The session is designed to empower board-level leaders to set and deliver strategies with regards to new ways of working and considering the benefits of existing and emerging technologies as well as to ask the right questions to effectively scrutinise and receive assurance in relation to digital and transformational change. It is an introduction to the concept of digital as a user-centred, collaborative way of working and technology as just an enabler. Its purpose is to build an understanding of the mindset which underpins successful digital transformation.
- Places are free and fully funded by Scottish Government (no cost to organisations or individuals)
- The content is delivered online (no travel requirements)
- Limited time commitment (Part 1 takes approximately 1 hour, Part 2 takes approximately 3 hours)
- This is self-nominated offer (you will join others from mixed organisations in board-level roles)

Our expert facilitators each bring their own experiences of board-level leadership and driving Scotland's digital agenda.
