Resources from the NHS Scotland Event 2021 now available
All resources from the NHS Scotland Event 2021 are now available on the Event website.
For the first time ever, the event was held online and took place over three days. Delegates and speakers attended via the virtual conference platform and had the opportunity to reflect on what we can achieve when we work together to Re-mobilise, Recover and Re-design.
Delegates heard from a number of inspirational speakers about the challenges, stories and the extraordinary work that’s been happening throughout the pandemic, from the implementation of innovative technologies and re-design of services, to the incredible collaborative work across our health and social care services.
The extensive programme featured six keynote sessions, twelve sessions, and six spotlight sessions featuring a number of presentations. In a session chaired by the Scottish Government, Tracey Baxter and Angela Gregg of NES shared their recent experiences of developing new products to support both health and social care services. As well as the filmed content, all presentations featured in the sessions are available to view in the resources section.
Alongside the main programme, delegates also had the opportunity to view over 300 ePosters in an online ePoster showcase.
The showcase included posters from NES:
- A sustainable and reliable approach to faculty development in the world of simulation: Jean Ker, Andrea Baker, Michael Moneypenny, Lynn Hardie, Neil Harrison, Jerry Morse, and Catherine Paton.
- Co-producing the psychosocial interventions for psychosis training programme for mental health staff: Anne Joice, D Manson, A Gumley, and C Kent.
- Coaching for wellbeing: Tuija Tengvall and Gillian Strachan.
- Developing a multidisciplinary rural advanced practitioner education pathway: Trish Gray, Pam Nicol, Claire Savage, Cathy Sharp, Roslyn MacDonald, and Laura Pinkerton.
- NHS Scotland GP Coaching Service: Tuija Tengvall and Gillian Strachan.
There was also an exhibition area where delegates could visit a number of exhibitors who were there to showcase their products and services to help support and inform the work taking place across the service. For the full list of exhibitors from this year’s Event, please visit the exhibition section of the website.
Please take time to look through all the resources and take back the learning to your workplace to share with colleagues.
