The perioperative nursing, midwifery and allied health professions programme team invite you to their upcoming online perioperative careers showcase.

Taking place on Monday 3 June, from 13:30 to 15:30, this unique event is designed to open the doors to a range of fascinating roles within the operating theatre and beyond.

Perioperative care refers to the comprehensive care provided to a patient before, during, and after a surgical procedure.

Whether you're just starting to explore healthcare careers or looking to take your next step, this is a chance to gain real insight into what these roles involve and how to get started.

The event will begin with short videos showcasing careers including:

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) Trauma Coordinator
• Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP)
• Anaesthetic Practitioner
• Recovery Nurse
• Operating Department Practitioner (ODPGA)

You'll then join a breakout session on the career you're most interested in. Giving you the chance to speak directly with professionals working in the role, and experts who can guide you on the education and training pathways to get there.
