Digital Mindset Session for Board Members and Senior Leaders
The Leading in the Digital Age programme provides learning resources and training events to board-level and senior leaders of health, social care, social work, charity or third sector organisations across Scotland. You do not need a digital or technical background to participate in these sessions - in fact we welcome those who feel hesitant about this area.
Digital Mindset Session for Board Members
The Digital Mindset Session for Board Members is an introduction to the concept of digital as a user-centred, collaborative way of working and technology as an enabler. Its purpose is to build an understanding of the mindset which underpins successful digital transformation.
It’s designed to empower board-level leaders to set and deliver strategies related to new ways of working and consider the benefits of existing and emerging technologies.
The session is split into two parts:
- part 1: video presentation
- part 2: a live, interactive online session with a small group of board-level colleagues from mixed organisations led by an expert facilitator

It aims to demystify the concept of a digital mindset, helping you to understand how you can approach issues and opportunities through a digital lens and the benefits of doing so. The session will also equip you with a key set of questions to go back and explore with your own departments and teams.
