Consultant Haematologist
Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service
Dr Jennifer Laird is a Consultant Haematologist working with the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service, where she is the Clinical Lead for Red Cell Immunohaematology. She also works in the Clinical Haemoglobinopathy service in Glasgow. Her other interests include blood group genotyping, obstetric transfusion and transfusion for trauma patients. Jennifer also has a keen interest in education, she is Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow School of Medicine, Clinical Lecturer at Strathclyde University and examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists in Transfusion Science as well as Clinical and Educational Supervisor for Haematology Trainees in the West of Scotland.
