Diane Anderson is a Biomedical Scientist, senior educator with NHS Scotland Academy leading the biomedical science accelerated IBMS registration training portfolio programme. During her 45 years’ NHS laboratory experience, she has worked and supported under and postgraduate staff across a diverse range of disciplines from inception through to Health and Care Professions Council registration and beyond to postgraduate higher education. She has a passion for training and education ensuring staff aim high to reach their full potential.

Recognised by the Science Council as one of the Top 100 Scientists in the UK (Teacher Category) for inspiring the next generation of Biomedical Scientists. Her achievements were also recognised by the Chief Healthcare Scientist and by Scottish National Blood Transfusion with two lifetime achievement awards in recognition of service to education and training.
