NHS Education for Scotland

A skilled and sustainable workforce for a healthier Scotland

Year in review 2020

Welcome to our 2020 year in review, sharing some of our key achievements over the past year with you, our stakeholders.

2020 was a critical year for everyone. For us, the challenge was balancing supporting front-line services every day while keeping education and training going for the future.

Our vision has never been so important:

'A skilled and sustainable workforce for a healthier Scotland.'

And we wanted to give a flavour of what we have achieved.

So, below we take a deep dive into some important areas with a series of case studies.

And, using our self-assessment reporting (SAD) document, we have extracted some metrics to illustrate with info-graphics, how we have contributed in key areas.

We hope you enjoy this snapshot of our work over the past year.
