Scotland's Dementia Awards 2016

Scotland’s Dementia Awards celebrate creative approaches, innovation and best practice in all aspects of information, advice, care and support for people with dementia, their carers, partners and families.  Dementia is Scotland’s most pressing public health issue.  Over 90,000 people live with the condition and countless partners, family members and friends are also affected.

If you work in health, social care, the independent or voluntary sectors in the support of people living with dementia, or if you are involved in education or training relating to this, then we want to hear from you!  Share your projects with us today.

There are six award categories:

  • Most Innovative Partnership
  • Best Dementia Friendly Community Initiative
  • Best Community Support Initiative
  • Best Innovation in Continuing Care
  • Best Acute Care Initiative
  • Best Educational Initiative
