Rethinking Remote 2018 Conference


Innovative Solutions in Remote & Rural Communities Healthcare 

The Scottish Rural Health Partnership is hosting the second 'Rethinking Remote' Conference in Eden Court, Inverness on 24 and 25 May 2018. The conference encourages cross-sector sharing of innovative solutions in remote healthcare provision by public, military and industrial health health services.

The conference has five principal themes relevant to remote healthcare - Emergency Management and Pre-hospital Care; Education and Professional Support; Community Engagement; Technology; and Community Care.

Call for abstracts (Oral/Poster)

The Rethinking Remote 2018 Conference will be having a poster session and four free papers sessions which will include 4 oral presentations in each session showcasing innovative work around the five themes of the conference. We invite submissions which are examples of research, service development, an international perspective, or multi-agency working.

All abstracts that are accepted will entitle the author to register to the conference at the Early Bird discounted rate.

The closing date for all abstract submissions is Thursday 1 March 2018.
