Do you have an interest in public service? Are you committed to the NHS and social care in Scotland?

We are looking for four non-executive members to join our Board. You will play an important  role in supporting the provision of the high-quality education, training and lifelong learning of NHS and social care staff, which is vital to providing excellent health and care services.

We invite applications from people with a diverse range of skills, backgrounds and knowledge. If appointed, you will receive training and support to develop and enhance the skills required.

What is involved

As a member of the Board, in addition to the right skills, knowledge and experience for the role, you should also be able to demonstrate behaviours aligned to the NHS Scotland values:

• care and compassion
• dignity and respect
• openness, honesty and responsibility; and,
• quality and teamwork
