Webinar – Facilitating Experiential Learning: University Update

Webinar – Facilitating Experiential Learning: University Update

Would you like to know more about supporting student pharmacists who are undertaking experiential learning in pharmacy practice in Scotland?

A webinar which took place on Tuesday 22nd January provided an opportunity for the Scottish schools of Pharmacy to provide an update on their MPharm course structure and how experiential learning (EL) is integrated into the course. There was an opportunity to allow facilitators of EL to ask questions about what is expected of them and how they can best support student pharmacists on EL. A recording of the webinar is available here.

The session was aimed at those who are currently involved in hosting student pharmacists on experiential learning to supplement the PFEL training but could also be of interest to those who would like to become involved in the future.

The Presenters of the webinar will be:
Dr Anne Boyter, MPharm Programme Director, University of Strathclyde
Dr Brian Addison, MPharm Course Leader, Robert Gordon University
Aly Brown, MPharm Professional Experiences Lead, Robert Gordon University

It is the ideal opportunity to find out more about how the Additional Cost of Teaching funding will enhance the quality of experiential learning for our Scottish student pharmacists
