Meet our Tutors

Continuing our series of short introductions of our local tutors, so that you know who to approach if you want to know what’s happening in your area and to share your thoughts about useful CPD events for the future. This month we are introducing you to Angela Flynn who is the Senior Specialist Tutor for Tayside and has a national role supporting development of e-Learning resources. Here is a brief biography about Angela:

"I am a pharmacist and have been a pharmacy tutor for NHS Education for Scotland (NES) since 2001. With NES I have a national role – developing e-learning programmes -as well as a local role organising postgraduate educational events in Tayside. I am also engaged in Practice Based Small Group Learning (PBSGL) and regularly facilitate a small group of pharmacists to aid and encourage peer discussion and promote professional development.

In my other job I am based in Tayside, working for the Medicines Monitoring Unit, University of Dundee. Here I work in research looking at novel trail methodology in primary care research. I have also currently involved in working with St Andrews university, helping to develop the pharmacy and therapeutics course material for the graduate entry medicine course – ScotGEM."
