We have a number of events  to support existing and new pharmacist facilitators interested in hosting Student Pharmacists.

1. All you need to know for experiential learning facilitators –  An Experiential Learning Event from University of Strathclyde and NHS Education for Scotland

9th September 2019:  Registration from 18.30. Event begins 19.00 – 20.30

University of Strathclyde and NHS Education for Scotland are hosting an evening event to allow facilitators of experiential learning for student pharmacists to come along and hear what’s happening with experiential learning in the 2019/20 academic year.  The evening will include an update on the MPharm degree at the University of Strathclyde, Experiential Learning in the context of the degree and a discussion around the new EL handbook.  You will also hear about the different ways that experiential learning is being organised for 2019/20 and the roles and expectations of everyone involved in all aspects of EL.  There will be plenty of opportunity for you to have questions answered throughout the evening.

2. Preparation for Facilitation of Experiential Learning Training

Facilitators involved in EL must undertake mandatory Preparation for Facilitation of Experiential Learning Training which comprises of a one-day training event and e-learning modules. There are nine Preparation for Facilitation of Experiential Learning events planned across Scotland to support Experiential Learning in 2019/20. These events are bookable through Turas Learn

  • November - Glasgow 4th; Aberdeen 6th; Glasgow 14th
