  • Promoting practitioners to engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities utilising a range of NES resources across all nursing disciplines.

  • Promote practitioners use of digital technology to support engagement in CPD activities and the provision of evidence for the purpose of annual appraisal and Nursing and Midwifery Revalidaiton utilising the TURAS digital platform.

  • Delivery of the Skills to support and facilitate workplace learning programme, which aims to increase Educational capacity within the Nursing and Midwifery workforce. This programme provides the opportunity for staff to engage in inter-professional learning based on NES Train the trainers tool kit.

  • Contribute to the development of the Band 6 Nursing and Midwifery Workforce to meet local Health Board priorities through the development of the Band 6 Education Network.
