Victoria Nairn is a graduate of the University of Wales and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS), an affiliated member of Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), and a member of the Association of Heads of University Administration (AHUA).
Victoria started her career in the private sector, working across the commercial environment in the UK, specialising in commerce, corporate services, procurement, finance, risk management and corporate governance.
Victoria has held a number of senior leadership roles across the private, public and education sectors, including as Head of Development for the global defence contractor BAE systems, Head of Strategic Procurement at Lancashire Council, Head of Digital Transformation at The Highland Council and most recently as Vice Principal of Corporate Operations at Robert Gordon University.
In her current role, Victoria is a member of the Executive Leadership Team of the University, managing an extensive portfolio of corporate services across the University to ensure that the institution has strong and innovative leadership delivering organisational excellence.
As part of the Executive team her role is also to ensure that the University takes advantage of strategic opportunities to maximise resources.
