The Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) is the method of ensuring that doctors in training make satisfactory progress through their training by having a panel examine reports, portfolio evidence of training and by interviewing a percentage of trainees. This resource was initially developed by the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE) and UK Medicines Information (UKMi). It has been adapted by the Association of Medicines Information Pharmacists in Scotland (ASMIP) to include equivalent websites accessible in NHS Scotland.
