The Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP) is the method of ensuring that doctors in training make satisfactory progress through their training by having a panel examine reports, portfolio evidence of training and by interviewing a percentage of trainees. This resource was initially developed by the Centre for Postgraduate Pharmacy Education (CPPE) and UK Medicines Information (UKMi). It has been adapted by the Association of Medicines Information Pharmacists in Scotland (ASMIP) to include equivalent websites accessible in NHS Scotland. This resource been developed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in primary care settings such as area teams, GP surgeries, community services teams or primary care organisations, both commissioning and provider services.
