Scotland’s Dementia Awards celebrate creative approaches, innovation and best practice in all aspects of information, advice, care and support for people with dementia, their carers, partners and families.  Dementia is Scotland’s most pressing public health issue.  Over 90,000 people live with the condition and countless partners, family members and friends are also affected.

There are six award categories:

  • Most Innovative Partnership
  • Best Dementia Friendly Community Initiative
  • Best Community Support Initiative
  • Best Innovation in Continuing Care
  • Best Acute Care Initiative
  • Best Educational Initiative

The official entry form is available at www.ScotlandsDementiaAwards.org.uk. The closing date for entries is Thursday 31 March.

Scotland's Dementia Awards is organised and hosted by Alzheimer Scotland in partnership with NHS Health Scotland, Scottish Social Services Council and NES.
