NES at NHSScotland's Annual Event

Once again, NES will be participating in the NHSScotland Event taking place on 20 and 21 June next month at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow. The theme this year is ‘Working Differently Across Boundaries: Transforming Health and Social Care’.

Over two days we will:

  • Exhibit on stand (No 67) and showcase a number of projects, programmes and resources relevant to staff working in health and social care.
  • Highlight how our Turas digital platform can support learning, training and professional development in the parallel session, The ‘Once for Scotland’ Approach – Improving Employment Experiences.
  • Deliver three posters presentations on the topics:
    • Getting midwives moving – how does behaviour change help?
    • Reducing unnecessary harm: enhanced communication with people who are bereaved
    • Training across the Gap: Collaborative training between the NHS and third sector in evidence-based psychological interventions for mental health problems

Visitors to the stand can find out about our leadership programmes in health and social care; explore the QI Learning Zone on Turas; discover new educational resources in: post-registration education for nurses, midwives and allied health professions; oral health; autism; duty of candour; and feedback and complaints; and obtain more information about the new education pathways in estates and facilities and infection prevention and control.

We look forward to seeing you there.
