Moving ahead on Health and Social Care Delivery

NES is continuing to work with partners to respond to the Health and Social Care Delivery Plan. Together with the other National Boards, we are looking at creating a joint response by the end of September 2017. In doing this, we're taking into account latest and emerging thinking, such as the National Workforce Plan and the Digital Health and Care Strategy.

Caroline Lamb, NES Chief Executive said:

“The National Boards took a view early on to look at what we can do together to achieve better value. All the National Boards have different strengths, so it’s about seeing how we can each contribute what we do best. In terms of NES, that means things like using our insight to support better workforce planning. We can also lend our Digital expertise to help the NHS take a more agile and customer-focussed approach to the systems and infrastructure that we use.

“It’s clearly important that we involve our partners in the wider NHS. That means including regional leads in our early thinking as it develops.”
