Services

There are a number of services available at a national level.

1.  Executive Coaching register: Based on best practice to maximise the investment in this form of leadership and personal development, this service extends existing coaching services provided within a number of NHS Boards.

2.  Mentoring Initiative:provide opportunities for everyone to develop mentoring partnerships across NHS Scotland and partner organisations to enhance performance for better outcomes.

3.  Coaching Collaborative: aims to extend coaching at work. It provides a wide-reaching and cost-effective coaching service that enables in-house trained coaches to work within other organisations through flexible time-banking.

4.  Leadership Exchange: pairs up leaders across sectors to provide insight into different cultures, constraints and opportunities within the public service, helping us to understand what it would feel like to walk in the shoes of another.

5.  360° feedback tool: a powerful tool to help individuals identify where their leadership strengths and development needs lie. The process includes getting confidential feedback from line managers, peers and direct reports. For more information on how to access this tool, please contact your local OD Lead or nlu@nes.scot.nhs.uk

6.  Consultancy: NLU can offer consultancy to support to the scoping and design of leadership development resources and activities in relation to individual / team /organisational development.  We would normally expect to be contact by OD Leads or Government Leads and enquiries should be sent to nlu@nes.scot.nhs.uk in the first instance.
