  • Early Clinical Career Fellowships are an exciting opportunity for nurses and midwives who are committed to developing their leadership potential in the early stages of their career. The fellowships include release from practice to access funded part time masters level education, mentorship/clinical coaching, action learning sets and masterclasses

Target audience: The fellowships support enthusiastic, motivated and talented nurses and midwives at an early stage in their career to develop personally, professionally and academically.

  • Effective Practitioner is a national initiative providing work-based learning resources and support for Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals in Scotland. It contains a full section on Leadership development. This is aimed at Agenda for Change band 5/6 NMAHP's and those who support them.

 

  • eHealth Leadership Programme enables nurses, midwives and allied health professionals to acquire enhanced leadership skills and an understanding of how technology can enhance person centred, safe and effective care. It supports NMAHP’s to influence the eHealth agenda at local and national levels, demonstrating innovation and creativity

Target audience - The programme is designed for experienced nurses, midwives and allied health professionals in senior practitioner roles, such as clinical managers and team leaders, who have an interest in eHealth, a passion to increase the use of technology for the benefit of patients, and a determination to use leadership skills to increase the NMAHP contribution to the eHealth agenda.

  • A Taste of Leadership is a one-day leadership development programme, targeted for pharmacy staff early on in their career (Agenda for Change band 6)
  • Taking the Pharmacy vision forward is a 6 day course that develops an appreciation of the current theory on leadership and increase the participant's confidence in being a leader. The course is aimed at Agenda for Change band 7 or 8a)
