The launch of a new National Trauma Transformation Programme. Casting the vision for a trauma informed workforce and services across Scotland, capable of recognising where people are affected by trauma and adversity, that can respond in ways that prevent further harm and support recovery, and can address inequalities and improve life chances.

This new online resource provides information on principles of the Realistic Medicine approach to healthcare – putting the patient at the centre of decisions made about their care. The website includes links to educational resources, guides and frameworks to help embed Realistic Medicine across Scotland.
COVID saw us develop new ways of working, not just for our own staff, but for both the wider health and care workforce and citizens in Scotland. In September NESCurrent was a special 'Response and Recovery' issue, highlighting some of the actions we took in light of the pandemic.
