Recruitment to Dental Core Training (DCT) is through a national selection process led by the DCT National Recruitment Office (DCTNRO). All information about the selection process is available on the DCTNRO website.

NES is now responsible for issuing Certificate of Sponsorships (COS) to Dental Trainees in Scotland who require Skilled Worker sponsorship.

The Post Dental Core Training Fellowship gives individuals, who have already completed Dental Core Training, the opportunity to continue training. It offers the opportunity to broaden knowledge and experience within the dental profession in preparation for specialty training, general practice or other branches of dentistry.
These are 12-month posts commencing in September 2024.
